Linux

I tried KNOPPIX yesterday (I've fucked up the CD by now though, don't ask) and I must say that Linux runs pretty well. It was a bit slow, but that is because this version ran straight from the CD. Considering that, it is faster than Windows (and looks better too). If you also consider the fact that Linux is more stable than Windows, and that less virusses are written for Linux than for Windows, I definitely think I'm going to swap over (using a dual-boot system of course), next month sometime. I downloaded about 700MB of data for KNOPPIX, so I think I'd better wait 'till next month with downloading Debian (because of the crappy cap on Telkom ADSL).
