BOOM!

The middle east is gonna blow up. Whatever America is going to make of this situation, it can only be bad, mainly because the Americans are a bunch of greedy bullies who'll take what they want because no one will stop them.

The funny part is that the whole world is hating America (or at least so it seems, it's that or they don't care at all), while the mainstay of it's people either don't realise the impact on innocent people's lives of what it's Government is doing, or they don't care. Bunch of apathetic sheep...

Anyway, my 'personal growth thing' is still going. I'm reading a lot about consciousness + the nature of reality, natural sciences, eastern philosophies, C.G. Jung - you know - that sort of thing. I almost feel as if I'm loading my brain with the tools needed for some type of mental journey. Damn that sounds cheesy. Guru brain or someshit.

I had a great holiday in Mozambique. In Ponta d'Ouro. I went smimming with dolphins - bottlenose variety. Many people have asked me whether it is a spiritually healing experience. Yes and no. It is not a spiritual experience, because they are only dolphins, like any other animal (or you or me for that matter), and they are not going to 'heal' you in and of themselves. I believe that Man is his own saviour. It is because the environment you are in is totally alien (unless you are accustomed to snorkeling on the bare ocean floor) and the dolphins are new to you, and interesting (in no small part due to their intelligence and social behaviour). In this alien, yet physically safe environment (unless you can't swim), I forgot about all my worldy cares, and I focussed on the dolphins, every second becoming more and more involved with simply being in the now. I believe it is this that is the spiritual experience.
